Hi,

I recently upgraded my PC and i got an RX580 but sometimes when i try to play a game It will run perfectly once or keep rebooting everytime when i try to play. I have looked into overheating and it doesn't get higher then 65 degrees. The card is connecting good onto the motherboard as well.
And my PSU should be delivering enouth power as well. I also have a dual monitor setup.
I have re-installed the driver about 3 times now as well.
At this point i don't have a clue as of why i have this problem.
If anyone can help me i'd be very thankfull cause i feel i should be very able
to run this setup no problem.
The specifics of my PC:
Windows 10
Ryzen 5 1600 not OC
MSI Radeon RX580 ARMOR 8G OC
MSI X370 KRAIT gaming
PSU: corsair VS650

Do you have a spare gpu that is less power hungry to test the system? Another possible reason could be bad memory or incorrect timings/profile for your ram. What ram are you using? Have you XMP enabled? You could try to check your ram with memtest86 to exclude any possibility of bad ram. Download Prime95 and run blend tests. It won't stress your gpu. If it passes then it's another indication that your psu is not delivering enough...

I have but i don't have any spare PSU laying around and want to be sure thats the issue before i buy a new one.
Any way to check without just using another PSU and see if that helps?

If it passes then it's another indication that your psu is not delivering enough juice and that your cpu, memory are ok. It's hard enough that anything else can make a system reboot
