Two months ago, I tried to overclock my CPU which is an Intel Q6600 (Not G0) 2.4 GHz quad core. But, since I am a newbie, I screwed it all up and now my CPU can't run as properly as before. It gets too loaded and as far as I could see, I think my system is just going full on to my processor. It used to work perfectly before this.

My problems are:
Some sound files get corrupted (for example when it's playing music in the background and if I try to open steam, the music will start stuttering and will get immense if I start scrolling.) and it gets really annoying after some time. I can't watch videos on YouTube if another program such as CS is open in the background because the video will start stuttering and going all green and purple. I know I can fix that problem but then the audio gets messy. The last problem I have is on games. I used to get 60+ fps on nearly all of my games but now I can't most of the time. After failing the OC, I set the BIOS to default.

My motherboard is an Asus P5B (NOT DELUXE) I have 8 gigs of DDR2 RAM and my GPU is a 1050ti. Please help me. You guys are my only hope. I can't let someone touch my PC because it contains important files of mine that are connected to a vast network. Please, I beg you help me.

Edit: I have run the official Intel CPU program that tells you if your CPU is a no-go and my q6600 actually passed the test. So I believe that my problem is within my BIOS Settings. When I run the Task Manager, my CPU will go up to 99% while my RAM won't even go past 55%. For example, after a game's opening sequence is done, the CPU will go up to around 2,35 GHz while the RAM will stay below 55% like I said. I've changed my BIOS settings to default again so that it will be easier for me and you guys. HELP! Please just help me. I don't want the audio stuttering, corruption or interruption. Thank you..

Wouldn't that be the same thing as just setting it back to default?
