Crackling sound in pc.

Hi, I am a recording artist. Lately, Ive been hearing crackling sounds from my speaker/headset. at first I thought it was my microphone but no. Any audio I play especially when playing vocals, I really hear the crackling sounds. Please Help me figure this out. Ive tried using latencymon and reinstalled windows, I even flashed bios updates but still didnt fix the problem. I Really need help. Thank you!

Crackling can by a dying capacitor in the amp or soundcard, could even be the psu causing interference. The only way I know to prove it is swapping parts until the crackling goes.

What is your audio setup like? Are you using an external DAC?

Take a look at this link and try the "Disable Audio Enhancements" and the "Disable Exclusive Mode". Those are the first two things to try out.

If that doesn't do it play some vocals and start disconnecting devices like keyboard, mouse, whatever you have connected other than speakers to see if one of the devices is causing some EMF.
