Hello. The other day I was playing PUBG and when my game finished I put my computer on sleep mode. I came back later and I could not get my computer to display anything, though it was turned on. I opened it up and restarted. From the inside everything seemed fine. my fans seemed to work(including the fan for the cpu and the fans inside the GPU and PSU). and I got one beep when I started my computer. However, still no display. Also, the power situation was pretty wonky. For instance, when I was first testing out ports, I pulled the dvi cable out of the dvi port and my computer instantly lost power. Very strange. Also, For instance, if I had my mouse plugged in before my computer started or plugged it in within like 10 seconds of my computer starting It would have power, but If I plugged it in after that I would get a momentary flash of power and then not have any power for my mouse. I can tell because the scroll wheel lights up. With my keyboard it was a similar situation, only when I plugged it in while the computer had been on for 10 seconds or so, all my keyboard caps/num/scroll lock lights came on and I could not turn them off.

So, I removed my graphics card and plugged my video cable into my motherboard's vga port, hoping to run my computer on integrated graphics. From here I got a slightly improved situation. I could see the opening page which asks if you want to press delete for BIOS or f8 for boot options, and then I would see the spinning circle windows loading page after that, but from there I would either get a black screen or a BSOD saying anything from clock watchdog exception to missing windows files (the latter is more common). There were maybe 1 or 2 other errors I saw too. I tried unplugging my (quite new) hard drive and plugging it back in to see if that would solve my problem. No cigar. I tried reseating my ram. I tried moving my ram. I tried using just 1 stick of ram. I tried taking out my CMOS battery for 15 minutes and then putting it back in. I tried to use BIOS (which I can use for as long as I want) to switch manually to integrated graphics, but I could not find an option to do so, and I guess I must have already been using integrated graphics if I was seeing BIOS. I think I'm about to buy a graphics card and I hope that will fix my problem, but I'm starting to get worried about whether my motherboard might be the real issue. Can anyone tell me what they think and if there is a way for me to figure out which piece of hardware is failing me?
