Right now I am in a fix as I am unable to find out who the main culprit is in failure of My PC is it MOBO,Hard Disk, CPU.
Before 3 months my 1TB WD Hard Disk failed and after that I purchased 500 GB HDD of WD.
I installed Windows 8.1 OS and it ran fine for 10 -12 days after that it started giving me BSOD errors. I reinstalled Windows 8.1 and again same problem.I installed OS each and every time BSOD errors came for 5-6 times.
2) When I connect my DVD Burner in SATA cable it either don't detect it or if it detects also the computer freezes and so I disconnected it .I tried connecting it in all the 6 SATA ports same results each and every time.
3) Last month same problem occurred with my OS it would again show me BSOD, so I tried re installing WINDOWS 7,8.1,10 Everything with USB flash drive and while installing booting itself takes 15-25 minutes and after starting the main installation it takes more than a hour and that too at 70%-80% leaves an error of some "Booting Problem" Same problem occurs while reinstalling again and again.

Now I want to know which is faulty HDD,MoBo,CPU or something.

My PC BUILD.

Core i3-530
Intel DH55TC Motherboard
4GB RAM TRANSCEND DDR 3 1333MHZ
SAPPHIRE RADEON HD 6670 1GB DDR 5. Graphics CARD
LG WRITE MASTER
500 GB HDD
INTEX 450W power supply.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

I think the problem here is the processor. Intel no longer provides active support for this processor. If you only have one 4GB RAM module open up task manager and check the utilisation of RAM. It will show you a percentage which will let you know how much your computer is using. The general rule of thumb is that if RAM or the CPU is over 80% it's time to upgrade.

How long have you had the PC and what do you use it for?

Hope this helps in the mean time.

Anthropomorphising a computer. I've done it do many times. Sometimes I turn it into a world unto itself instead of a beast of some sort.

That beast comes into his doctor's office. The paleontologist asks Gary what's wrong. Well you see doc, my family doctor said I was sick. But then I got better, ya see. Sure, go on. Well it's happened multiple times since then. So, what's wrong doc? I can't rightly say Gary. C'mon doc, give it to me straight. Is it my heart? My live? Not my hoofenogger. Please not that. You didn't bring your paperwork Gary. Well I was sick. Isn't that enough. Doc Ya Ping is extraordinary at what he does. But sending us blank sick sheets doesn't help with the diagnosis.

It is within your BSOD's, the answer to the question that you asked. It may possibly be residing within your Event Viewer. Just knowing your PC had BSODs only let's us know something is wrong. Your BSODs are full of information. They usually point to an issue. it could be as vague as lost power and don't know why or it could point to a particular issue.

It too could be your PSU. That's a very low end PSU. From India, you are?

hen I connect my DVD Burner in SATA cable it either don't detect it

So, how are you installing the OS?

if it detects also the computer freezes

Does that mean if the DVD Drive is connected it won't boot or? Sounds as if you are hot swapping.

Yes,I also know that my PSU is of some normal brand in India and not like that of Corsair or some US company, but it will be no problem for me buying Corsair, the only thing is exact problem should be known. Anyways I have given my PC to service center and they will let me know the fault by a day or two

The DVD drive boots but the system freezes. For instance let me tell you that I have GTA 3 installed on my PC and it requires Second CD for playing but when I open the GTA 3 application and select Play option my computer freezes. So I downloaded GTA 3 from Internet and then installed and played it for few days and my computer started giving me BSOD. After that I never installed GTA 3 and just used system for Internet and Entertainment purposes but after 10 days again BSOD, "Your computer ran into a problem and it need to be restarted" Every time when I installed new OS and the error is same like "0xx00009" something which I don't remember. Then as I told I tried installing OS using USB flash drive and it took hell lot of time at least 2-3 hours and that too giving error at 70-80% of booting error. [/quote msg]
