Hi,
I was hoping to pair my Ryzen 7 1700X with an overclocking MB and fast 3600 RAM.
The description for the ram on NEWEGG says "Intel Z170" on it.
I didn't think Ram was exclusive to CPUs but don't want to open this RAM if it is incorrect.
Secondly, should I just use lower speed ram and budget that money elsewhere?

Purchases:
CPU: Ryzen 7 1700X
MB: ASRock AB350M Pro4 AM4 AMD Promontory B350 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard $74.99
RAM: G.SKILL TridentZ Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3600 (PC4 28800) Intel Z170 Platform Desktop Memory Model F4-3600C16D-16GTZ $196.99
GPU: EVGA GTX 780 (A transfer from my old computer)
