new built pc wont boot? help!

when i turn the power supply on motherboard lits up, front panel lits up and Gup lits up. then CPU led lits red after a sec it goes off and RAM led lits yellow after a sec boots fails. no VGA led lit and no boot led lit.


i m using asus rog strix z270e motherboard, evga 650 GQ powersupply, Corsair Vengeance RGB LED ddr4 3000 (pc4-24000), intel i7-7700k (BX80677700k), corsair hydro Series v2 liquid cooler. i have no post speaker.

is the problem is in cpu, motherboard or in ram?


when i press boot or restart button nothing happens.

Drop down to one stick of RAM (test each alternately) in required first slot (check MB for guidance as to which slot should be filled in one stick configuration)

Remove all hard drive /DVD drive SATA port connections, and molex/PCI-e power inputs to same devices as well...

Ensure CPU PWR connected to mainboard....

Ensure cooling pump connected to correct header, and some sort of fan connected to cpu fan header...

Disconnect all USB headers, in case one is shorted...

Remove power from mb and PSU..

Remove GPU entirely, connect strictly to onboard video

Rest CMOS....

Reconnect power, try again...

If still bad, it's RMA time for something!

i tried putting in mb speaker no beeps.i m tring with only cpu liquid cooler and ram and font panel. is it normal for a motherboard to boot as soon as powersupply is on as i didnot press boot button. as soon as turn on psu, motherboard powers up, followed by cpu red led and ram orange led but no vga led and boot led. any1 understand what might be it.
