Ryzen 5 1600X or Intel i7 4790K for 3D Rendering

1600X is newer but cheaper, while i7 4790K is more expensive but its older, however i can buy used i7 4790K at the same price as 1600X.
I am not very good at hardware so can someone help me what CPU should i choose for 3D Work in Maya / ZBrush. Thank you in advance. I am going to study 3D Modeling/Animation in 1 month and I am trying to build a PC. This is what i have in mind.

CPU AMD Ryzen 5 1600X or i7 4790K
MOBO ASUS PRIME B350-PLUS (I will change it if i go for i7)
RAM HyperX FURY 16GB 2400MHz DDR4 CL15 DIMM 8x2 (I will get 1600Hz DDR3 if i go for i7)
PSU Cooler Master GM Series 750W 80Plus Bronze
CPU TOWER Cooler Master Hyper 612S Universal
CASE CoolerMaster Case Storm Enforcer
SSD Kingston HyperX Fury 120GB SSD
HDD HDD 1TB WesternDigital - Caviar Black
GPU GTX 1060 6GB

I am at the limit of my budget and i can't buy anything more expensive than this. I just need help with the CPUs and answers if the build is gonna work properly. (without mistakes, crashes etc.) Thank you in advance and sorry If there are any grammar mistakes. English is not my native language.

I would go with the RyZen too, its more future proof, the 4790k is 4 years old now and EOL (end of life), the RyZen in multicore performance would storm all over the 4790K, RyZen would also be the much better choice for your usage.

If you do go with the RyZen and intend on overclocking at all, go with the 1600, its a bit cheaper, comes with a cooler, and will reach the same speeds as the 1600X easily.
