Hard Drive disappeared?

I had just finished formatting my new SSD and I realized that one of my hard drives have gone missing and is not showing up in Windows. I checked the cables to be sure that the drive is on and I can hear it spinning. When I restarted my pc to check if it was recognized in BIOS it was not there.
OS: Windows 10

Funny thing is, that that article doesn't even mention the potential for a SATA port to potentially not be working, and that was my problem. Thanks for helping anyway.

From your comment, it seems like you figured out the SATA port was the source of the problem, we are glad to see the issue has been resolved. When having trouble with a hard drive, a good place to start with troubleshooting is to try the drive with a different cable, try the drive in a different port, and try the drive in a different computer (when having computer troubles, always check the connections) if possible and see if the issue is replicated there. It's probably where the old IT "Have you tried unplugging it and plugging it back in" thing came from (don't knock it, it works!).
