Hey guys. As what the title says, I recently got a new fan for my pc since the front fan of my pc broke one of its fins. I put it in and now my pc is very loud. I is louder than it was originally. My cpu, gpu, and back fan is at the sam rpm but not the front. I tried SpeedFan but it does not work and I tried BIOS. I still get the same results. How do I lower the fan?

Solution
Gingerbread is pointing in the right direction. If your new front fan is of the 3-pin design, its speed can only be controlled by a header that uses Voltage Control Mode, (aka DC Mode). Sometimes that is an option you can set in BIOS Setup, sometimes not. So tell us whether the fan's female connector has 3 holes or 4. Then tell us the maker and exact model number of your mobo, and we can advise your best options.
