My computer keeps rebooting with 16GB of ram inserted!

Hey, my computer worked completely fine few days ago until I took out the 16GB of ram to clean everything. When I try to put the 16gb of ram back in, my computer keeps switching off every two or three seconds and rebooting. It only works if I take out 8 gb of ram. But now I dont have enough memory for games!! Anyone help?? Thanks

I tried each ram seperately, whenever I press the power button it glows up red for half a second and then turns back off. I've taken all the ram out and it's still making the same problem.
