Okay, last night i put a vintage ddr2 1 gig stick in my pc just for the lawls and i tried to restart it today and there is not output to the monitor. The montherboard lcd screen is coming up with the error "3f", that means reserved in my manual. I dont know what that means. I took my whole computer apart made sure there was no short, cleaned my headsink and cpu of thermal past and applied more. I check everything and it all seems to be in working order. Put everything back together and same issue, computer looks like it booted up and i can hear the harddrives but no signal to monitors.

Motherboard : GA 990 fx gaming
Cpu: amd fx 8350 black edition
Gpu: evga gta 960 ftw edition
Ram: 2x corsair vengance 4 gig 1x 8gig hyperx fury
Psu: 500 watt corsair gold edition
Hdd: 2x 1tb 1x 100 gig ssd.

Everything ran perfect before i put that old ram stick in ther.

Solution
ummm. Why did you put a DDR2 stick in a DDR3 only motherboard? I think when you tried to turn it on you fried the board because tou threw voltage into the ram and back out again in all the wrong places.
