2666mhz RAM Not Running at Full Speed?

I just built my new PC with an Asrock AB350M Pro4 and (1x8GB) Corsair Vengeance DDR4-2666 memory. When I opened the Ryzen Master utility I noticed the memory was actually clocked at 1067 MHz instead of 2666 MHz. For some reason it also said it was in single-channel. I have the stick of RAM in the A2 slot. Is there anything I can do to get my RAM up to advertised speeds?

There may have been an issue with the overclock. When I tried overclocking my RAM manually, system would not POST, it power cycled a few times and after 3 or more times the system reset the BIOS to default settings. Your motherboard or CPU may not be able to run the RAM at 2666MHz. Technically speaking, the motherboard is only rated for 2400MHz max. The new intel x299 motherboards support up to 2666MHz

you have to double what the utility says it is clocked at, so 1067MHz is actually 2133MHz, which is the stock speed that motherboards will run. You will have to go into the BIOS and overclock it, XMP will make this easy.

The manual doesn't mention anything about how to overclock. How exactly would I do this?

There should be an option in the BIOS to enable XMP (extreme memory profile).

I loaded XMP 2.0, set the frequency to 2666 MHz, saved the profile and exited the BIOS while saving the changes made. My PC then turned off and began to turn on and off repeatedly about 5 times and then it turned on completely. Is that normal?

This motherboard says "AMD Ryzen series CPUs support DDR4 3200+(OC)/2933(OC)/2667/2400/2133 ECC & non-ECC, un-buffered memory"
I think it supports 2666 MHz RAM, I just don't know how to overclock it.
