Good gaming headsets under or around 100 dollars?

I've been searching for so long now and i really just keep getting turned off every option i begin to get interested in. Can someone give me a few really good options for gaming headsets that have decent mic quality and good sound. I'd like 7.1 surround sound but i don't really mind if they have that or not because i don't really know if that even makes much of a difference.

if you want to save a bit of money, i have the g230's whcih i believe are a little downgraded version of these and i love them. people can hear me clearly when i talk in game, i can wear them for 3-4 hours without any real discomfort, and at least to me they sound pretty decent

im sure 100$ ones would be better but in case you wanted to try somethign cheaper, theres my 2 cents

The g430's are actually the ones i own and i hate them, honestly. I've had them for about a year and they're not awful for the average user. They're just not that comfortable and the sound quality definitely could be better which is why im hoping to get a new pair soon. they're also not that durable seeing as i've had to gorilla glue mine back together after a drop. The swivel hinge broke really easily :/

Check the HyperX Cloud II and HyperX Revolver S, the cloud II being very comfortable as long as you like closed ear headsets, while the Revolver S has a little better sound and reinforced for extra durability.

ahh okay. fair enough! i like mine but i havent tried nice ones yet so i dont know what im missing out on lol

My friend has the hyper x cloud II and i really really like it alot actually. i didn't even know they had more headsets in that series. I don't really wanna get the same one as him because i hang out with him alot and its kinda dumb but it's just personal preference. I really like how the hyper x revolver S looks and sounds tho. I think i'm gonna goto fry's soon and pick up a pair. They look awesome and have gotten great reviews! thanks man!
