Hi Community,
I'm looking to upgrade my Dell Inspiron 3420 to 8gb of Ram.
The current one, is SODIMM (of course) DDR3 PC3-12800S, 1.5v
The one I'm intending to buy, is a Kingston KVR16LS11/4, for which the specs say that it operates at either 1.35 or 1.5 volts.
Would it work, if I added this memory next to my current one? I'm fairly sure it will, though the seller mentions that since the Kingston is a DDR3L, it won't work...
Below are the full specs of my current memory:
Memory Type: DDR3 SDRAM SO-DIMM - 4GB
Bus Speed: PC3-12800S (DDR3-1600)

Voltage: 1.5V
