Unmatched Compatibility
Zero RAM Interference

Focusing on providing the widest range of
compatibility, the H7 utilizes an asymmetric slanted
heatpipe layout to move the heatsink away from the
RAM zone, Offering optimal compatibility for RAM
with tall heat spreaders on both Intel 115X and
AMD platforms.

If you're overclocking it to the limit, then you might want a water cooler. A 120mm cooler will do a good job, and a 240mm cooler would do even better if your case can fit one.

If you want to stick with air coolers and go as far as possible, while fitting in the 157mm case size, I'd recommend this:

Sycthe Fuma

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Scythe-SCFM-1000-SCFM-1000-Fuma-CPU-Cooler/dp/B016XLGATE?SubscriptionId=AKIAI3INFIGIMW2PG6XA&tag=shoprev-uk-21&linkCode=xm2&camp=2025&creative=165953&creativeASIN=B016XLGATE&ascsubtag=[site|thauk[cat|[art|[pid|B016XLGATE[tid|15011001820081588[bbc|LESPRIX

150mm including fan, while cooling similarly to some of the much bigger dual tower heatsinks. Just thought I'd throw this in here in case watercooling isn't your cup of tea. It won't match high-end watercooling, but it'll come close and you'll get a fair bit more overclocking in comparison to the h7, 212 evo etc.

so will the 120 mm water-cooler be better than the H5?
