Hi,
I recently did a fresh install of Windows 7, and once installed I couldn't connect to the internet. I went in to device manager and noticed that my device list didn't show network adaptors, but it does show ethernet controller with a yellow caution under 'other devices'. So I then downloaded the LAN drivers for my motherboard (ASUS H97-PLUS) on my laptop from this website (https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/H97PLUS/HelpDesk_Down...) and transferred them to my computer with a USB. Once the LAN driver installation finished on my PC an error pops up and states: "The realtek Network Controller was not found. If deep sleep mode is enabled Please plug the cable". Any Idea on how to remedy this?
Before the fresh install my computer was connected to the internet with no problem.
Thanks for any replies!
