is the gigabyte nvidia gtx 1060 a good card

Hold on a tick.. I have a gigabyte GTX-1060 card.... It is sooo quiet! Even gaming it is quiet! I don't know of any card (other than liquid cooling) that is quieter!
It's 30C in my room and the fan is still off.. it only comes on if I game and then it only gets to about 60 % and I don't hear it!
windforce is a great design.

You have to be careful of the thin metal shroud as it can cause issues with the fans as the shroud easily bends.

If you're careful this is an excellent value card.

There are much QUIETER cards but unfortunately the prices are still messed up. You may want to WAIT a bit longer for the cyroptocurrency pricing issue to resolve and go with a better card like an Asus Strix.
