atikmdag.sys BSOD Crash

So a couple of days ago I was playing Skyrim Special Edition, and something out of the ordinary happened. After killing Alduin (the main antagonist) I ported back to Skyrim on the Throat of the World and tried saving when it was day time. Instant crash. So I go to my event viewer and I noticed that CCC.exe (Catalyst Control Center) was having some errors. I tried a couple more things with Skyrim but it just wouldn't stop crashing (only when I save or wait during the daytime though). This was especially frustrating because I was a good 2/3 of the way through my playthrough and wanted to get all of the achievements on steam. Since I saw the CCC errors, I decided to update my drivers for the control center. (I ran an older version of Catalyst Control Center because I was able to underclock my CPU speed due to constant crashing if I have it at 100% speed). After updating, it still didn't work so I started messing with the drivers and lone behold, I fuck it up. By the time I realized I had just fucked it up more, the damage had already been done. All day yesterday my PC wouldn't go 5 or 10 minutes without getting a BSOD. It mentioned that the cause of the BSOD was the atikmdag.sys driver. I looked through some forums and saw that if you reinstalled your drivers, copied the atikmdag.sy_ file onto your desktop and ran a command via cmd, it would fix it after replacing it. Tried this and it didn't really work.

Previously it was getting an IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL BSOD, however it later changed to just a corrupted driver. To get to the point, my PC can sit idle for hours without crashing, but the second I do anything it blue screens after 5 or 10 minutes of idling or use.

I know I'm an idiot and all that, and I've learned my lesson. Here are my specs:
MOBO: MSI 970A SLI Krait Edition (MS-7693)
CPU: AMD FX-8320 Eight-Core
RAM: 8GBx2 DDR3 SDRAM PC3-17057
GPU: AMD Radeon R9 280X 3GB
PSU: Cooler Master G750M
SSD: Samsung SSD EVO 120G SATA Disk Device (C:)
OS: Windows 7 Enterprise

Summary:
-"atikmdag.sys" is cause of BSOD's
-Will BSOD if I attempt to play a game or use the PC for 5-10 minutes
-Startup is taking up to 20-30 seconds longer
-Things are generally slower to open
-Internet is extremely restricted

Go to control panel, device manager and look at your display adapters... If your motherboard has an onboard display adapter like "Intel HD4000" I have read before that it can cause ATIKMDAG. I deleted it and that seemed to have resolved my problem with ATIKMDAG
