I just started up my computer and I can't connect to the internet. My Ethernet cable is not showing up in device manager either.

Check your cable -- it might be damaged. Get a fresh Cat5e or Cat6 and test it.
if not, make sure your NIC is being recognized.
Usually these problems are on the physical layer.

Could be but it was working fine yesterday. Also when I troubleshooter it said it could not find the network adapter drivers
