My brother currently has an All-In-One HP Pavilion PC but the processor is a really crappy AMD one. I was wondering if All-in-One PCs use the same parts as a desktop (even if it's just the processor that's the same) or if it needs laptop components?
Obviously the motherboard has to support the new CPU but still, just wondering.

Solution
It would depend on the AIO in question, but, I'd be surprised if any HP solution was using anything radical or cutting edge...; run CPU-z, and it'll identify the socket/processor, RAM, etc...
