Ryzen 1600x good for streaming?

Is the ryzen 1600x good enough for streaming with a decent quality with a webcam? Planning on buying a new cpu, since with my current one I constantly get cpu overload on obs.

I tried looking for a similar post with the webcam issue, but only found basic streaming.

Yes, it is, from teh bechmarks you need 6 cores/12 threads to play and stream well so 1600 is good for that. Also try to get 1600 without X its teh same chip but cheaper and it comes with a cooler.

X version only gives u a bonus auto-OC feature and slightly higher clock, but no cooler, so only get them when u already had an after-market cooler
otherwise, i rather suggest u get the 1600 instead (slightly lower clock but comes with a cooler, more bang in the buck)
