So I have 2 pc's next to each other, I want to use one for heavy stuff like games and all that, and the other for testing purposes and storage. So I have my gaming pc connected to both my monitors with dvi and my crappy pc to one of those 2 monitors.
Now I would like to use 1 pair of mouse and keyboard on both of those pc's. I switch to the other pc by using the input button on my main monitor but I don't mind that. It's just that I want 1 keyboard and mouse on my desk. I have tried the Synergy software for that but I don't think it works when you have 2 pc's connected to the same monitor...
I also have 2 usb 2.0 cables shaped in a Y. It has 1 female connection and 2 male. Maybe plug in the mouse on the female and plug in the 2 male in each of the pc's???
Anyone here with some experience with that?
