Hi guys, I have a new pc build. Attempting to download Windows 10 onto usb before wiping my current HDD and loading os onto it. All USB ports work, I have checked. BIOS recognise my USB as a SanDisk Cruzer Edge 2.0 or whatever. The USB works on my laptop so I presume it's working. I've tried using another USB in my PC and it doesn't recognise that one either.

I've checked the drivers and they're up to date according to the program I used, I checked diskmgmt and it doesn't come up there either. I tried changing the USB settings in bios but nothing works.

I am so confused.

All parts have been upgraded bar case, cooler and hdd.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Solution
Ok so, press Win + R and write there devmgmt.msc. Expand "Disk drives" and try to find any devices with yellow triangle there.
After this (even if it hasnt got exclamation mark)right click it, open properties and try to roll back driver, update it or uninstall it by clicking buttons in properties menu.

P.S. If it doesnt work - format your drive on another PC and plug it in again.

Hi, thanks for your response. It doesn't show up on device manager, I will try formatting it. Am I able to format it on a mac?
