Hi all,

Windows is on my C drive on the SSD and that is partitioned into D. My E drive is a completely separate regular HDD. I've just noticed today that the D drive saying that i'm 30.6Gb free of 54.5Gb but when i'm in the drive nothing is showing.

I've checked hidden files, the status bar shows as 0 items and i've emptied the recycle bin. When in the properties, this also shows as having 23.9Gb used space.

Any idea to see what is on there or any other way of getting to the bottom of this?

I was just getting ready to download a new game off steam and put it on the D drive when i noticed it was half full (or depending on your outlook on life, half empty :p)

TIA

Sadly not, i've got system protection off on all 3 drives.

Another thing i meant to say was when i went to Settings -> System -> Storage -> SSD Secondary D
23.8Gb of the 23.9Gb i'm trying to get rid of is classed as Other. When i click in the Other section, it says "We couldn't find any folders to show you".

In WinDirStat under the D drive i'm showing:

<Unknown> 23.9Gb with no option to delete - everything is greyed out when right clicking.

Ah ha
After using TreeSize i've found the files and they're showing as
System Volume Information
18.4Gb, 2.7Gb & 2.7Gb each.

What are these files exactly because i now have the option in this program to delete them...

TIA
