My PC sometimes crashes into a grey screen with a loud buzzing noise when I play certain games. This forces me to use the button at the back of my pc which completely disconnects it from the power.
The crash occurs when I play games like GTA V on max settings, but what i find strange about this is it crashes when I play games like "Calm Down Stalin" which my pc can easily run, there are no dips in framerate its just an instant crash. Here are my components:
AMD RADEON RX 480 8GB
Intel Core i3 7100 3.9 GHz
8 GB RAM
1 TB HDD
Corsair 550 Watt VS550 ATX
MSI H110M PRO VD Micro ATX
I use an adapter since my motherboard doesnt have a HDMI port, but my monitor has a HDMI port, I also use the trial version of windows.
Another reason why I find this strange is because I can play games like StarCraft 2 at max settings and it doesn't crash. I checked my GPU and CPU temperatures during long gaming sessions and the temperatures are stable. I am thinking of resetting my system and reinstalling everything.
Edited: I don't know if my CPU is lowering my GPU's performance.
