Current Hardware setup =
Antec S10 Signature case
ASUS Crosshair V Formula Z motherboard
AMD FX 8320 CPU (8 Core)
Corsair Vengeance LP 1866 MHz DDR3 x4 (4 8GB sticks)
750 watt power supply

I am looking for a graphics card that is still on the AMD side of the house. Some games I play are; Mass Effect 1,2,3 and Andromeda, World of Warcraft, Star Trek Online, Path of Exile, EVE Online (occasionally), League of Legends, World of Warships and some games on Steam. I am looking to spend no more than $600 and would like an upgraded card that can run any of these games with maximum graphics settings. Also, I run two monitors (HP Pavilion 32" and HP 22" bw) and would like it to have two DisplayPort connections if possible.

I was looking at https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814126192&ignorebbr=1 as a possible upgrade. Would this graphics card be an acceptable upgrade to the above-mentioned hardware? Along with the upgrade to the graphics card, I will be removing the 750 watt power supply I am currently using and upgrading to https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371060&ignorebbr=1. Thank you for your time and knowledge.

Very Respectfully,

The case I currently have is the Antec S10 Signature (I listed it in my original post). :D I would like to set up the desktop for OverClocking, just in case I decide to do some research into it and take the bold leap into overclocking. My current budget is looking to the $2k range (with a preferred $2.5k max). I was also looking into taking the doors to my case into a local glass shop and seeing if they could make tempered glass doors for it so that the inside would be visible. The doors are on hinges and use small magnets to hold the doors closed.

I would like to try to use the dedicated radiator areas (just one, but the case has two areas). Here is what I am looking at so far...

you dont need to change your power supply, you are flushing money down the toilet

a 650w would be plenty for your setup with a rx 580 even if overclocking

save your money for a platform upgrade, the FX line is obsolete for gaming and would prevent you from having playable fps at maximum setting in most newer titles and especially online games

if you want to game and stay AMD switch to a ryzen 1600

Thanks for the information from both of you. With the AMD Ryzen 1600, would a 6 core Ryzen perform better than the FX 8320? I'm thinking the answer is yes, but I'm not to tech savvy in the way of computer hardware. Also, the 750 watt power supply I currently have would still be able to handle the new graphics card (ASUS ROG Strix RX 580)?

I took a look at the AMD Ryzen 5 1600 and it says it 'requires a CPU cooler and discrete graphics card'. What does that mean I need to purchase as well? Also, the Ryzen doesn't seem to have an AM3/AM3+ option. My motherboard supports only AM3/AM3+. What would be a good alternative?

A small upgrade to post as well. I don't think it'll affect things much, but I now have two HP Pavilion 32Q monitors.

If you are going to upgrade the CPU to ryzen you need the new socket and chipset to go with it.
When it says it needs a cooler it means that it won't come with one. Discreet graphics is a graphics card.

Here is what you need to do:
If you are going to get a Ryzen 5 1600 you need to get a cooler for it. Hyper 212 should suffice. If you are going to overclock it you need something a little better.
If you are not going to overclock you only need an A320 chipset. If you are going to overclock you need a B350 or X370 chipset.

Your current power supply is sufficient for getting the RX580 and the Ryzen 5.

--EDIT--
You need to get DDR4 RAM as well for the Ryzen CPU

I was doing some more looking into the new CPU and I would more than likely have to get a new Motherboard and RAM to go with it. So here is what I found to be good. Some of the items are just because I like them (the RAM has blue LEDs). I am not looking to OverClock at this time, but once I understand more about overclocking I might look into it.

Motherboard = http://www.frys.com/product/9100128?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG
RAM = https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16820236139
CPU = http://frys.com/product/9127148?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG (Will 6 cores suffice or should I get 8 cores?)
GPU = https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16814126192
Cooler = https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16835103241

From looking at these components, would they work well together? And it looks to me like this would be changing up a majority of the components within the case. :D Thank you for your time.

when getting a new CPU that uses a new chipset you pretty much end up replacing half of your system components. The RAM you picked is great but Ryzen at the moment doesn't like RAM that runs higher than 2666MHz so you won't be getting the most that you can from your RAM if it is capable of running up to 3200MHz. Also, 64GB is supreme overkill. 32GB is more than enough.

6-Core/12-Thread is perfectly fine. If you are looking to go balls to the walls then 8/16 is obviously better. But you won't experience any issues when gaming and doing productivity work with the 1600x. If you ever plan on overclocking in the near future don't buy the "X" version of the CPU as it doesn't make a lick of difference. The only difference is the base clock speed. Absolutely ALL of the Ryzen chips can be overclocked. So you can save about $20 by going with the regular 1600 and not the X version but it's all your choice in the end.

As for a cooler that is fine, but like I said if you are ever going to overclock you need a better cooler. If you are looking to spend the kind of money you are right now you might as well go one step up to an AIO liquid cooler and just be ready for when you do overclock.

As for the motherboard if the only reason you chose it was because it has RGB lighting then you can get a B350 with RGB for less money and the B350 can overclock the CPU as well. It just has a couple non-essential features missing compared to the X370 boards.

For an RGB B350 I recommend THIS ONE

For an AIO on the budget side I recommend THIS ONE (it's RGB btw)

Also, on a side note - The cheapest RX580 you can get right now is $400 because it's out of stock everywhere else for a cheaper price due to mining.
So in the build below I've added the MSI RX580 since you only want AMD and I assume that that's the one you definitely want.

All in all to hopefully make things simpler I took into consideration your choices and my recommendations and have put together a PcPartPicker list below.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 1600 3.2GHz 6-Core Processor ($209.99 @ B&H)

I changed the processor to the 1600 and the RAM to only 2x16 GB. As for my computer case, it will only accept radiators in 360mm, 280mm or 240mm (without custom bracketry). Are there any comparable radiator setups that match the three sizes that the case will accept? I did some brief searching online and found https://www.amazon.com/dp/B019955W7C/ref=psdc_3015422011_t1_B071R2P8M3. Would that be a comparable one to the Kraken?

Thank you so much for your help, knowledge and time.

Going from FX to Ryzen is building a new computer, especially since you will also be buying a new videocard. That's why this 'upgrade' seems to require a lot inside the case to be changed. ALL the key components are different.

If I were you, I'd just buy the videocard for now. Run your games with the new card and monitor CPU usage, using MSI Afterburner or something similar. You want to see if you even need more CPU power for the games you play, at the settings/resolution you use. Some games won't benefit from a CPU upgrade, League of Legends for instance. Some games, like ME Andromeda may benefit enough to make it worth the expense to build a Ryzen system.

The h110i is a good product. I suggested the kraken because of its performance heritage and I choose the x41 based on it being more cost friendly. If you are willing to spend more you can just go to the next level of kraken.

I was noticing that you were leaning towards LED/RGB lighting earlier and of course have been suggesting specific components that meet that requirement.

I also apologize for not recognizing sooner that you were in Canada.

I'll look into the upgraded Kraken. Again, thanks for your time and knowledge. Also, I live in the USA. :D (No offense taken) I'll be making my decision by the end of the day today.

as stated by dontlistentome you should just get the GPU for right now and see how it performs paired with your current CPU in the titles that you have told us about. If you plan on playing the newest games that are coming out though and looking to do some heavier processing tasks then you will need to upgrade to more modern tech but that could be done at a later date. Also, if your case supports 240mm and up rads then you can put that X41 I recommended earlier in your case. It'll fit in the space, it just won't fill up the space. You can also replace your rear exhaust fan with it since it should be about the same size. You would just need to adjust the fan to be in PULL mode and screw it to the radiator and then to the back of the case so that the fan is in between the rad and the exhaust grate. But I recommend digging into the measurements and whatnot to figure out that stuff. Otherwise you could spend the extra money on the X61 or anything similar to it and shove it into your dedicated rad locations in your case. Corsair, Thermaltake, NZXT, and one other I can't remember right now are the top dogs and everything else is lesser. Not bad just not as good and of course most of the time cheaper as well so you kind of get what you pay for and all that. And I said what I said about Canada because you linked me a Canadian website so I kind of assumed you were in Canada.

And as for the 2x16GB I only recommend you do that if you are going to be getting the other 2x16GB not too long down the line. otherwise go with quad channel 4x8GB.

Honestly I don't know what your budget is for this so I recommend more budget friendly suggestions. Honestly I always recommend budget friendly choices just because "who doesn't want to save money?"

If you told me what case you have and your budget I could most effectively recommend parts that fit in the dimensions of your case and budget.
