So I'm having really low fps with my brand new Gtx1080 not like those people who complain that they only hit like 80~90 fps. My case is much worse, pretty much in all my games my 1080 is barely getting 60fps even if i oc it a bit some games like Overwatch with max setting and 1080p i barely get 60fps , The division? something around 50 60 and some drops, i know drops can happen ever so often but what i am facing is fps stuck at the 50~60 zone.
Latest drivers installed, just came from a clean install. Used SlimDrivers to check my drivers and they all looked fine. I just came from a r9 390x amd it was performing better than my brand new 1080. Disclaimer: Checked the power management to high, Not using V-sync or anything that would've locked those sweet fps, temps are fine (actually kinda low)
I REALLY need some light on the subject.

My specs:
I5 6600k @ 4.4ghz
Gtx 1080 G1 Rock from gigabyte
SSD
Windows 10
8gb ram ddr4
AsRock Z170 pro4s (edit: forgot to mention my mobo)

One interesting phenomenon I've noticed, is that extremely powerful cards run the same, or better on higher resolutions. Try bumping it up to 1440p maybe, and see if your FPS is the same, better, or worse.

"Kinda low" is my stupid way of saying, ok, from 60~69ºC, the same is also true to my cpu temps around 50~60. Yes the monitor is connected to the gpu.
I'm running out of ideas.
