ALTRA 550 watt PSU

Stock Intel cooler

(Getting 212 evo)

(getting gtx 750ti)

thats a low end build enough to run games in medium to low setting.Why not get a more recent version of mobo and processor.
you can even opt for ryzen processor.Can you name your budget so we can help you out with a more decent build??

Most of those components are decent. I am not familiar with that PSU so I would be hesitant to buy it if you do not have it already. The weakest link is the GPU. You should be able to get much better than the 750ti, it is 2 generations old and at this time can be outperformed by cheaper alternatives.

High-end is a very relative term...

There is no need to get a Ryzen build. If you eventually get the i7 3770 and then upgrade your GPU your build will be very nice. There is no denying that a Ryzen build is nice, but you can save a lot of money by keeping your current system and slowly upgrading individual components like the CPU and GPU.

it really depends on your taste.Have you bought all the components??,your i7 is ok but i dont think it will last for another 2-3 years.Whats the full amount you can spend on your build?

A i7 3770 is better than Ryzen 3 and competes very well with Ryzen 5. Only Ryzen 7 will be able to beat the 3770. I would suggest keeping what you have. It will provide better performance for less money.

The 1155 socket is not in production anymore but the components are still relevant because at their "used" price points they can still outperform similar brand new alternatives. The socket is not dead, it is still very powerful.

buying a i7 3770 CPU wise would cost more than a ryzen 3

Sure. But you do not have to upgrade right now to a 3770. Even your i5 2400 will provide performance at the level of Ryzen 3. Getting Ryzen 3 will require new CPU, new MB, new RAM. Do you have money for that? And even then performance will be very similar to what you have now.

I would suggest saving for a better build rather than simply upgrading to a new build that is at the same performance as your current build.
