Sorry for the really late response, I have been on vacation away from technology. Is that 900$ including the monitor and keyboard? If you're doing some video editing you may want to go the AMD route as the more cores there provide a more stable platform for video editing and should still do nicely for gaming.

I will be using it primarily for gaming but also doing some video editing. As for the budget i'm trying to keep it under $900
or even go lower if possible. I've decided to remove the speakers which were around $50. I also have to buy a monitor and a keyboard. I decided to go with a LG - 25UM58-P 25.0" 2560x1080 75Hz Monitor and Redragon - Karura K502 Wired Gaming Keyboard to get me started, adding $170 more.
