Recently I've been freaking out after I made my system and it didn't start up as expected. When I turn the psu ac power on the motherboard lights up without any buttons being pressed and no fans start. When making the pc I put a little bit extra thermal paste on my CPU and it appeared on the sides so I cleaned a bit off from it being able to reach the CPU socket but a little strand of it hit a few solder points on the motherboard. I unplugged everything but a USB 3.0 header, 2 sat and 6 gb connectors, CPU fan, and 8 + 24 pin motherboard connectors but the motherboard still turns on without and buttons and the CPU fan doesn't spin.
Can I please get help soon this is freaking me out after doing a lot of reaserch to put it together correctly.
