I have a Dell Optiplex 755, Intel Q35 Express Chipset family. Will a Galaxy 95TGE8DC1CUM NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT 1GB GDDR2 128-Bit PCIe x16 Video Card work to upgrade my machine? I have 2.40 gig intel core2 Quad Processor, 4 gig ram. Will it work?

The thing is, is that the 9500 is a REALLY old card and the OptiPlex 955 is also REALLY old.
You may be expecting too much from tech that was made during the Jurassic period.
Get a PC more modern.

I put it in & downloaded the drivers & it worked but the on board graphics are better than it was so I took it back out. Could it be that I don't have enough ram? I have got 8 gigs coming from a friend.
