Hello,

Please forgive me, as I am not tech savvy and have been learning a lot the past couple of days. My video card stopped working and I need to replace it. I have an Alienware aurora desktop. The motherboard is an MS-7591. My old video card was a GeForce GTX 480. After doing research, I believe I have a PCI-e 2.0 slot on the motherboard. I know most video cards now use a pci-e 3.0? I'm concerned that they won't work, and I don't want to buy a used one if I can avoid it. Can someone recommend a decent video card that will fit into that slot within a $200 or less price range? Thank you so much!

In that case I recommend you get the GTX1050, it will play world of Warcraft perfectly and if by any case you wanna play more recent games it can handle it and it's definitely less the 200 bucks. If you got an extra scratch and don't mind using it to your PC, the GTX1060 will certainly be a good buy and leave you with no frustrations.
Please forgive me for any English mistakes, I'm Brazilian, if there's anything unclear please ask, I'll love to help

A 3.0 PCI-E GPU will work on a PCI-E 2.0 slot, but not at it's full potential, when I built my PC, PCI-E 3.0 Mobo's were to expensive, so I bought a 2.0, and my GPU is 3.0, and I can play with no problems at all.
To see the best GPU for you we need to know what do you want to play and how do want to play it.
With 200$ you can get GTX1050ti (184$ super clocked version on Amazon) but as I just said,it's better you tell us what do you to play

Thank you for getting back to me. I don't play much right now, just World of Warcraft. I'm a mother, so my gaming days are pretty much over. But I would like a decent card that will be able to handle some of the new games and play them pretty well (I'm not looking for ultra high-end performance).
