Hi, I am in my college hostel and my room is in the corner and i receive very poor wifi signals (just 1 or 2 blips), the area in proximity of routers gets a good strength and average speed of 4-5MBps and here in my room its so slow that i can't even open a normal website.
I can't use any repeater or other devices due to risk of theft, but i have one router in direct line of sight from my window which is about 30-40 meters far. Can this Alfa AWUS036NHA help me get a good signal strength and speed? and what else can i do to get a good signal? (room changing is not an option)
