What is the best 1060 3gb

If you're prepared to pay that kind of money for a 3GB 1060, pick up a 6GB 1060.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Video Card: MSI - GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB Video Card (£238.59 @ Amazon UK)
Total: £238.59

The 3GB versions are pretty poor value for the money (I have one). Either opt for a 6GB 1060, or a 1050TI IMO.

Average FPS can be pretty comparable with the 6GB variants, but the minimums are where you notice the difference.

You listed a UK site, with the difference between a 3GB and a 6GB being approx 20GBP at best. What do $ have to do with anything?

The 5% difference is in average, as I mentioned. From experience (again, I have a 3GB 1060), the 6GB is the only way to go IMHO.

I must be missing something.
Your initial post linked:
1. MSI 1060 3GB @ 240GBP, (temporarily out of stock)
2. Gigabyte 1060 3GB WF2 @ 226GBP (1 left in stock)
3. EVGA 1060 3GB ACX2.0 @ 218GBP (available August 8)

So the only option you could have by August 4, is the Gigabyte card @ 226GBP?

239 GBP for an (IN STOCK!) Zotac 6GB 1060
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01IA9FEOO/?tag=pcp0f-21

So a 13GBP difference

The Gigabyte wf2 3GB is faster than the zotac 6gb mini plus 3 gb of vram is more than enough for modern gaming.
And you are on the wrong sellers for the prices and the arrival

Not strictly true:
http://www.tweaktown.com/tweakipedia/90/much-vram-need-1080p-1440p-4k-aa-enabled/index.html

While yes, 3GB is enough for *most* titles today, that's not true for all.

As for the links/sellers, I followed the links you posted. I appreciate Amazon don't always show the cheapest price for any given product. Can you elaborate? What kind of prices are we comparing? Im on my phone now, so not the easiest experience to see the other sellers.

What kind if shipping are the others offering? Free? Will you get your GPU by the 4th?

I dont think the 20GBP increase and 15% prefomence decrees is worth an extra 3 gb of vram that I don't nessesarely need(I play overwatch pugb and some older games and I don't plan on playing any AAA games.as for the prices I have already decided that I want the gigabyte wf2 for the 3gb version so the msi and evga don't matter.

This would be a much better choice. I agree with Barty.

It doesn't matter which one you get as long as you get any 6GB version.

Where on earth do you see a 15% performance decrease? Yes the Zotac card is clocked a little lower, but some mild OCing should negate any theoretical performance difference based on clock speed alone.

If you're only playing Overwatch, PUGB and older titles (no AAA titles)..... then even 3 GB 1060 is probably overkill for you.

If you've decided on the Gigabyte 3GB 1060, then enjoy it.

Realistically though, even a 1050TI is going to destroy the games you intend to play - for even less of an outlay. Around 130GBP for ones currently in stock.
