I have an msi z270 gaming plus motherboard ddr4. I have ballistic sport lt 2×4gb ddr4 . I aligned the notch and tried to push the ram to click but it Is not inserting. When I push hard one side of the ram tries to go up making it not straight.

If after aligning everything and trying to push one side into the socket, then the other, and having no joy, consult somebody with experience. Sometimes a second pair of eyes is all you need to spot an oversight. Provided you have the right RAM, properly oriented, as LudazTV suggests, you may just not be applying enough force to cause the RAM to fully lever into the slot and cause the end clip to clamp down.

Normally, I prefer to install RAM modules into a motherboard before installation into the chassis, but if the motherboard is already installed, I find it easier to put a bit of pressure on the end clip while gently rocking the module 10° (give or take) both ways along the socket axis while applying pressure to the top edge of the...

Press hard on one side of the stick to make it click in, then when one side is in place you can easily push the other side in. You may need to use more force than you think. Obviously don't use your whole bodyweight in force though, or you'll probably break something

It's just one of those things you get better at from experience. The DDR version isn't really overly relevant in the installation at this point.
