Need help removing push pins from asus motherboard from under the heat sink. The pins are all still seemingly locked in despite being rotated to the left and unlocked. Just some help getting them unhinged would be great.

Solution
Unlock the "locking device" on top of each pin while the cooler is attached to the CPU/motherboard. Remove the motherboard, use needle nose pliers to pinch each pin bottom beneath the motherboard [first, make sure the internal lock pin is pulled free, inside the small pointed locking portion of the pin].

Edit: Photobucket wants me to pay $400 to post pictures.... I am not going to do that, can't afford it.

Are you talking about those srock intel coolers? Those are a pain in the a*s but the advice I could give you is not to be too afraid of using some force, after you turn the locks so it is suplosed to bu unlocked, pull on each of the pegs separately (make sure you push them twords the motherboard when reinstalling it). When all the pegs are pulled the heatsink should be able to move a bit, next step is just pulling it out.
