I am getting very little FPS after I changed motherboards

I have a i5-6500 and a Strix 1060 6gb OC edition

The memory slots for my Asus Z270e weren't all working so I had it RMA'd. I put in my old MSI B150M Pro-VDH mobo so I can still use my PC.

When I played CSGO with my Asus mobo i was getting over 100 fps on a map, but with my old mobo I am getting under 70 fps.

What's the problem?

Solution
I found my answer. My CPU was running at 90 degrees Celsius and obviously thermal throttling.

I just took off my cooler and reapplied thermal paste and everything. I also changed my BIOS setting for my CPU fan to be at 100% all the time (thank god for the Fractal Define Series) and it seems to be doing better. I'm running CPU stress tests through Intel Extreme Tuning Utility and it seems to be not thermal throttling anymore.
