I have 8GB DDR4 ram (single stick) and it is supposed to be running at 2133Mhz but when i check CPU-Z its shows its running at 1066.5Mhz (Avg) which is exactly half of what it should be.
That's normal. Because DDR stands for Double Data Rate so technically CPU-Z shows the correct frequency without taking this into account. Which means if you double it, you get 2133 MHz which is what you should have. I have the same with my kit, 3200 MHz shown as 1600 MHz in CPU-Z. Hope this helps
