Seasonic M12II 520 EVO vs Corsair CX550M?

Solution
In essence pick the one that's cheaper mate.
They're both good psu's , neither will let you down.

They're going to be running 30% load with what you currently have , at that the seasonic will be slightly more efficient.

Upgrade wise ?? The corsair has around 50w more 12v available in the average build.
Which only really matters if your upgrades include a 250-300w GPU (unlikely unless you buy second hand stuff from a couple of generations ago)

For instance I'd be wary of running something like a 390x on the seasonic whereas I wouldn't have an issue with the corsair.

Everything blackbird says above is absolutely true BTW but the corsair is generally cheaper (a lot cheaper in the UK)
Better quality ??
Purely on an internal component quality level the seasonic as it solely uses high quality Japanese caps.

The CX has teapo on the minor rails.
They are not the dire quality they were 10 years ago & converting 12v DC to 3.3 & 5v DC (this is a dc-dc orientated unit) isn't anywhere near as stressful as converting directly from 110/240v ac.

I'd argue overall the corsair is actually a better psu generally.

What about the rattling noise that everybody mentions about the corsair?

But, the corsair unit has the dc-dc function. Should i bet on that? Which should i trust? I just want a good psu, not fried components, longevity, no shut downs.
My build is:
-intel pentium g4560
-msi HD 6770 1 GB
-8 GB DDR4 2133
-1 HDD
Future upgrade will be done.
