Hello,
I just bought a new graphics card for my computer which is a
Palit Gtx 1060 6Gb Super JetStream. After i installing it and the driver,i realised that my computer was slower than usual and it took longer to start up.When i decided to play some games on it on high settings,it was great till i started getting a black screen for a few seconds before going back to normal. After playing for some time,it started to just hang completely with the computer not responding at all.I started to wonder if my power supply is behind all of this.Any Clues?

Com Specs:
Acer Predator G3-605
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790 @ 3.60GHz, 3601Mhz,4 core(s)
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6gb
1x 8GB kingston DDR3 RAM
2x 4GB Kingston DDR3 RAM
Power supply:FSP 500-50AAGA
I do have a gaming keyboard and mouse.

Computer's about 4 years old now

The Acer Predator G3-605 uses a proprietary power supply unit. It should be more than sufficient to power that system configuration with that graphics card.

Did you download and install the latest GeForce driver from NVIDIA's web site? https://www.geforce.com/drivers

Another question, is it normal if my power supply gets hot while playing these demanding games(probably but i'd like to confirm)

I played Overwatch on max settings mostly. It worked well(130+FPS) for a bit but the screen would like go black for a second occasionally and after sometime it would just stop completely and not respond. It dosent happen when doing normal non gaming stuff though.
