SIMMs and DIMMs together???

Hi, I recently tore down a dumpster PC for parts, and found two 1GB SIMMs, and two 2GB DIMMs, I could not boot the computer because the power button was unresponsive, but if it had turned on, would it have booted with both SIMMs and DIMMs at the same time? It was DDR2 memory btw.

No. Every board I've ever seen that supports two different memory types only works when one type is installed. I highly doubt it was SIMMs though, that ram is ancient and not around the time of DDR2. It's much more likely that the board supported DDR and DDR2.

SIMMs have been obsolete for decades. You're probably thinking of single rank DIMMs and dual rank DIMMs. If that's the case, yes they will work together.
