Hey my friend bought a GTX 960 from a guy and we were wondering what type it is (Model Number). He says that it is a MSI but I've been searching for a card similar to this on Google Pictures without any results. We know that it is 960 2GB MSI.

Thanks!

Well it may have a different core and memory clock speed than the original Nvidia reference card. When you deal with OEM PCs, they may request certain speed/power settings from the GPUs they order. The only thing you can do is like others have said and download and install GPU-Z and see what it shows regarding memory and core speed. From there, you can compare it to Nvidia's reference GTX 960 specs here:

From there, you can then compare specs to say vendor GPUs:

What you could do is ask the guy that you bought the card from, if he knows the name // number of the prebuilt PC that he bought.

If you have the option, you could also put it in an PC and use software to see which card it is.

Software that you could use for this
Speccy http://filehippo.com/download_speccy

You could also use msinfo. (Open run, type in msinfo32 and press enter). Components > Display

Looks to me like it's a custom build for Lenovo based on Nvidia's reference (blower cooler) GTX 960. I noticed the Nvidia logo stamp on the case which I've never seen put on vendor GPUs for sale to the public in retail form (MSI, EVGA, Gigabyte, etc.).

A friend of mine recently purchased an HP gaming rig that came with an Nvidia labeled GTX 1070 (blower design). It looks just like EVGA's Founder's Edition 1070 but has no vendor markings. I would venture to say it's a direct OEM Nvidia product and not from a vendor.
