So, I've searched all over the Internet about this, but I still can't find a concrete solution.
My PC:
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1050 2GB
CPU: Intel Core i5-2400 3.10GHZ
RAM: 12GB 1333MHZ DDR3
Monitor: HP L1906
I already tried to turn on and off v-sync, change power plans, resolutions, refresh rates, reinstall drivers... nothing works.
Almost all of my games never drop below 40, but they stutter even at those fps and feel like 15-25, and they only run smooth at 60 or more fps.
I have no problems with GTA V, COD AW, Battlefield 4, RE 6, Tomb Raider (2013) because they never drop below 60 like I said, but at my new and most demanding games like Rise of the Tomb Raider, Nier Automata or Mass Effect Andromeda, fps usually are 40-50, which should be very good and playable, but not.
I have experience on this, before I got my 1050 I used to play at 15-30 fps, and that's how I'm feeling right now. So what's the problem? can anyone help me? This situation is really frustrating...
Oh, one more thing, I use a HDMI to VGA adapter because of my monitor, and even with the power supply plugged in the problem persists.
