My mobo is a Narra5, which only has two slots for RAM. Currently it has 3gb of RAM, and I was wondering if I could get 8gb by installing two units of 4gb ddr2. Does anyone know if my mobo and pc (Compaq Presario CQ5604F Windows 7 64-bit) will support this? If anyone needs any more information, I would be happy to provide it. Thank you for any help.

Not according to the specifications page -- https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c01701270 The memory section states 2GB per slot, total 4GB RAM.
