I recently updated my GTX 1080 drivers and during the install all, monitors went black and I left it there for over an hour just to be sure. After I hard reset my PC, it gets past the bios screen and gets to the screen with the windows 10 logo and the loading wheel spins. After that my main monitor is the only one with signal and it is just black with nothing on screen, if I leave it there long enough my PC will reset itself and do the same thing. Any suggestions to solve this issue? I've tried disabling fast boot with no change.

Just wondering if this worked for you, or if you got it sorted?
I'm having the EXACT same issue but when I try to reinstall the driver I just get a black screen again. I'm thinking it's a driver or windows issue since this is the exact same (unusual?) problem within a week. GTX 970 here, and latest Windows Preview..

EDIT: In my case it turned out to be a dead\broken GPU. I installed another one and all was fine..
