Hi everyone , I have this very weird problem where the video outputs to the dvi port in my asus gtx 660. So then my pc is supposed to detect my graphics card and install the driver right ? Well nothing ever happened , it only displays the output at a low resolution . I went to the bios settings and enabled peg/pci to make this happen or nothing would be outputted to my graphics card dvi port if I hadn't done it. Btw my mobo is a foxconn g41 mxe ( I know it's not the fanciest g41 mobo ) and my cpu is a q8400 ( this pc quite old actually but nothing is covered up with dust cuz it's super clean and no errors thus far .Please help me out ..:??:

Yeah I downloaded the latest driver package from nvidia but when I run the setup, the setup analyses my system and say no detectable hardware to update the graphics driver. What should I do to this ?

Oh ok, yet you say it's outputting the display? Often when cards aren't detected, it's because people didn't realize they need to attach extra power leads, or the PSU just isn't good enough to power the card. So, I guess I'll ask, did you attach the cable/s from the PSU to the card, and what PSU do you have?

My psu is 450 watts and I think it's cooler master . When I attach the power cable to power up the graphics card , it turns on and the fans start spinning . It also has a green indicator light which glows green to tell it's powered on with sufficient power or red to tell there is not enough power ( checked in the asus website ) So the graphics has enough power but I don't understand what's the problem :(

Well it worked after I updated from windows 7 to 10 cuz that somehow fix everything lol . I think it must be some windows error back in windows 7 . BTW thanks for the suggestions pete :)
