The Asus Z270E has built in WiFi and when I plug in a wired connector to the ethernet connection it is not showing up and I can't connect to the internet. I think I need to turn off the WiFi first before I can use the wired connection. Any advice would be appreciated.

I installed the LAN driver that came on the CD with the motherboard and it looked like it installed OK but when I loaded the driver CD again it showed the status of the drivers, it said the LAN driver hadn't been installed. I also looked in the device manger under Network Adapters and it only showed a wireless and bluetooth installed. So I went to the Asus website and got the latest LAN driver and tried installing it and that fixed the problem now it is showing an Intel Ethernet connection in the device manager. Now when I connect the ethernet cable the wireless icon goes away and is replaced by the ethernet icon so everything is now working like it is suppose to as the WiFi is turned off automatically as soon as I connect the ethernet cable.
