Ok. Before I click order was curious about some opinions on my choices. This PC is mostly used for gaming. Keeping the use of my EVGA 1070 FTW, and my SSD for the next little while. Staying with intel. Also playing on Asus 1080p/144hz monitor. I know your going to tell me these choices are overkill for 1080p gaming, but am looking to have a constant 144fps. Above low settings if possible. Right now I'm using a Dell XPS with an i7 4770 non K, and the fps drops are too big for me even with everything on low. Specifically BF1. I don't have a budget, but I do at the same time....meaning I don't mind spending the money if it will give an improvement.

Case = Phanteks Enthoo Pro M TG version. Seems it has good airflow as I am going with air cooling. Plus I like a plain looking case.

Mobo = Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero Z270

CPU = i7 7700k

Mem = Gskill Tridentz 2x8GB DDR4 3200

CPU Cooler = Noctua NH-D15

Windows 10 = Need to get windows again, so might as well get 10 over 7??

Thx in advance.......Warstack.

contrary to ur view, i would say a 1070 makes perfect sense for 1080p/144hz gameplay now.
try the phanteks p400s TG instead. a sexy case.
the mobo is an overkill. try the asrock fatality k6. or msi gaming m5
try the cryorig h5 ultimate. thats enough imo.
win10 is a good idea. win 7 supports only till dx11.2, no dx12.

Thx for your opinion!

Those two mobo's are almost the exact same price as the Asus. Makes sense to stick with the Asus.
Also the Noctua beats the Cryorig in all tests that I look up.
