Hi, I'm planning an entry level gaming PC build and I was referred to the G4560 CPU. I only began extensive research and found out it's biggest factor making it viable in gaming is its hyper-threading capabilities. From my knowledge, hyper-threading is basically a function that makes the CPU act as 2 separate processors, effectively boosting the performance of the PC especially for higher demanding tasks. What I'm curious is; will the Intel G4560 automatically be in "hyper-threading" mode, or will I have to set it to hyper-thread on boot?
